What a wonderful resource for a beginning writer. This book takes the student from start to finish- from gathering story ideas to publishing a quality final product, to advertising for the book. Rachel guides the reader through the process, step by step with helpful tips and suggestions along the way. As a homeschool mother with a middle school child who loves to write, this will serve as my handbook as I guide my own child through this process of writing, publishing and selling her own books. Rachel writes this helpful student guide with humor and heart in a way that will speak directly to the student. This is loaded with helpful tidbits and as well as additional recommended resources- highly recommended!

She discusses where she finds her editor and cover designer, how she formats her books, and more. 10 Easy Steps to Writing and Publishing is an interesting and informative book in which Rachel shares her writing experience and advice for other want-to-be student authors.
